2024. Renovation.
This affordable housing renovation design sought to upgrade a semi-detached structure in poor condition, while providing energy performance upgrades to the existing envelope.The exterior walls are clad with a system of exterior insulation, upgraded air sealing and durable fibre cement siding. The building is also fitted out with high performing windows, and had a full interior renovation with clean and bright finishes. The project was used by a local non-profit as a training site to educate a new generation of tradespeople in high performance energy upgrades.
